BMW Motorrad, earlier teased the upcoming the 2020 G 310 twins and today it has started accepting bookings via its booking portal given on its official website. BMW Motorrad, a few days back confirmed that it will start bookings for the 2020 G 310 R & G 310 GS from 1st September 2020, i:e. today.
The new 2020 BMW G 310 R & G 310 GS will make their debut on the Indian soil and then will be launched in other parts of the world. With these entry-level bikes, the German marquee wishes to expand its customer base that was built with the first-gen BMW G 310 twins.
For booking a bike, customers can either visit any BMW Motorrad dealership or fill up the enquiry form listed on the brand’s official website. The deliveries will begin in the coming months and will be done on a first-come-first-serve basis.
For the year 2020, BMW Motorrad has updated both the bikes with a BS6 compliant 312.2cc single-cylinder engine, borrowed from BS6 TVS Apache RR 310. There are numerous updates done to the bikes which are still under the wraps. However, some earlier leaked images pointed towards a new LED headlamp unit with redesigned headlamp housing.
Like the predecessors, the new BS6 BMW G 310 GS and G 310 R will share a number of components and features with the BS6 TVS Apache RR 310. The new Beemer bikes are expected to equip some new tech features like ride-by-wire throttle, four riding modes and an upgraded instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity. The new BS6 G 310 twins are expected to be more refined than their predecessors.
